Mrs. Lynn called the office of MVW Roofing one morning regarding some recent issues she was having with her roof. A few years prior the roof was repaired using an opposing company, but this was not a resolution to the issue. The homeowners were still experiencing a leak within the home. Our sales representative placed a tarp over the exposed area to prevent further damage until we could get the job started. He also noticed that the existing shingles were severely past their recommended lifespan. This caused the shingles to become thin and brittle, and ultimately flake off. After pulling the home's measurements and taking several photos, it was time to create the estimate for Mrs. Lynn and her husband. Our Sales Representative recommended that the whole roof should be replaced due to its age, and to check the entire roof's decking for water damage from the leak. An Ice and water shield was applied to cover the decking to seal out any future water that may creep underneath the shingles.
