This project used something that we do not normally install. The customer, Kirk, had an existing 100-year-old slate roof and wanted a new roof that paid homage to the old slate roof, but required less maintenance than the slate roof. He found his solution in the Brava Old World Slate Roofing System. This synthetic slate roofing system has a better hail resistance to slate, comes with a 10-year workmanship warranty, a limited lifetime warranty, and can withstand wind speeds of up to 188 mph.
