Roof Replacement Photo Album: Total Roof Repair in Sasser, Georgia

    A homeowner by the name of James lives in the small town of Sasser, Georgia. He replaced his roof about fifteen years prior with an opposing roofing company. He called MVW Roofing because he had heard such good things about our work and our willingness to honor our work. Our office specialist set Mr. James' appointment for a FREE ESTIMATE with one of our three dedicated sales representatives, Zachary. Zachary provided the roof inspection, taking the time to carefully examine each small detail. During the inspection, Zachary discovered algae was growing on top of the roof indicating water exposure. There were a few missing shingles. The remaining shingles were terribly faded and smooth instead of their normal sandpaper-like texture. Zachary photographed his findings and reviewed them with the homeowner. Mr. James wanted to move forward with getting the roof replacement done, so we added him to our project schedule.       Shortly after, our crew arrived at his home ready to get started! The team started by removing the shingles and underlayment. With the existing decking exposed, this revealed that water was able to penetrate through the previous underlayment. Hence why there was algae growth found on the roof. Our Project manager alerted Mr. James immediately and informed him that we would be applying new OSB to each affected area. The homeowner greatly appreciated us bringing this to his attention and not just covering it up and allowing it to cause an issue later down the road. After the damaged decking was replaced, and new underlayment was installed. Our crew correctly installed brand new IKO Dynasty shingles in the color Granite Black.        This property owner was astonished when he saw the finished product.
