Roof Repair Photo Album: Naylor, GA Asphalt Shingle Roof Repair

MVW Roofing visited Renee out in Naylor, GA to inspect her roof after a recent high-wind storm ripped through this small, yet growing community. She noticed some shingles were torn off the roof and caused 2 areas of damage from what she could see. This 2,400 square ft, 5 bedroom  home was built back in 2019. Due to the roof's young age, roofing issues tend to be more common with age and if not installed correctly, shingles can and will tear away from the roof as they did on this home.    Another area of concern was on the opposite side of the home were a 2 ft section of fascia was ripped off the side of the home and needs repair. Once we evaluated the outside, we made our way into the attic to check for any water or moisture damage. What was a surprise to Renee, is we found some of the collar beams which support the roofs structure, is the start of mold from previous moisture that made its way into the attic.    Renee was grateful that we did a complete inspection of the roof and the attic to make her aware of a growing issue that can only get worse.
