Photo Album: Leesburg Home Gets a Roof Replacement!

Mr. Steve of Leesburg, Ga had an ongoing leak that ultimately made its way inside his home. Knowing the damage had become significant, he sought out to find a reliable roofer to replace the roof on his home. After some research, and reading numerous reviews, he found MVW Roofing! Mr. Steve gave us a call to set up an appointment for a free roofing inspection. This process was quick and easy, and our appointment specialist was able to get a sales representative out to his home in no time! Blake was the representative appointed to this project. Blake arrived and provided Mr. Steve with a thorough inspection of his entire roof. Steve's existing shingles were very faded and starting to have a wave like texture. The roof was currently tarped. Blake removed the tarp back to take a closer look, where he found that the roof was very soft to the touch. This indicated that water had penetrated through to the decking. Blake believed the source of the leak was a pipe boot over the bathroom of the home. Blake reviewed his findings with Mr. Steve, and they came to the agreeance that the entire roof would need to be fully replaced. Blake explained everything that the estimate included, and Mr. Steve signed to have the work done. A few short weeks later, our crew arrived and stripped the roof of its old shingles and underlayment. They removed the decking that had been affected and replaced it with new OSB. After this, our Sealoron XT underlayment was applied, and the roof was all prepped for the new shingles! This homeowner decided on using top of the line IKO Dynasty Singles in the color Granite Black. Our team done an excellent job restoring this roof.
