Mrs. Melinda is a homeowner in the small town of Sycamore, GA. She was in search of a roofing company who would work closely with her insurance company to get her roof replaced. A recent storm came through which brought a significant amount of hail along with it. Unfortunately for Mrs. Melinda, her roof took a brutal beating. Her roof was about 12 years old, and this homeowner was certain that it was time to have a full roof replacement. Mrs. Melinda received an appointment right away to have a sales representative come and preform a free inspection. Mrs. Melinda was overjoyed with the speedy response from MVW Roofing! After inspecting the roof, the sales representative immediately noticed the immense damage the hail had done. Her shingles had nearly no granular left on the surface, letting us know that they would not be protecting her home for much longer. Our sales representative explained to Mrs. Melinda that we would work hand in hand with her insurance company to ensure that she receive her new roof! After the approval of the estimate was completed and the insurance company agreed, we added this lovely homeowner to the production schedule to get the ball rolling. Within no time our crew at MVW Roofing had arrived to get the job done. We started by protecting Mrs. Melinda's lawn with a tarp so that no nails would be found in her yard. After this we began to carefully scrape the old shingles and underlayment off to make room for what was to come. After this our crew carefully examined the existing decking to check for damage and after finding a few concerning areas, we went ahead and replaced them. Now it was time to apply the underlayment to the decking to further protect these brand-new shingles. The instillation is still in progress on this cute Sycamore home.
